This website is operated by the Sullivan Weather Amateur Radio Association (SWARA.)

SWARA is a team of volunteers that provides communications and other support functions at NOAA's National Weather Service Forecast Office in Milwaukee/Sullivan, Wisconsin.  SWARA does this as a public service to our communities.

SWARA is self funded.  Although SWARA works within, and supports a local office of a federal agency, we receive limited financial support from that agency.  All equipment and training in support of our mission is provided by our members.

In this site viewers can obtain inforrmation about NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) and see links to related sites.  SWARA believes that every home, school, and business should have an All-Hazards Alert Monitor with the latest technology.  In addition, as a service to the public and a fundraiser for our organization we make available for purchase at a reasonable cost a quality All-Hazards Alert Monitor.
